The Electrom iTIG-II range of winding analysers offer class leading performance in the UK and global market. Available in 4 models from 4kV to 30kV** they are suitable for most motor testing applications and the portable models give the facility of on-site testing with instant feedback for your clients.

All the models feature a 2 year warranty and unlimited lifetime technical support and software updates. We also offer a full repair service, and some models are still in regular use after 30 years.

Customer feedback is that this is very simple to use and both AC and DC motors can be tested in addition to generators and individual or groups of coils.

Results and reports can be transferred to USB Flash Drives, over Ethernet or wireless to a server. Reports can be printed to PDF on the tester with one click of a button saving significant time. Alternatively they can be generated with TRPro report software running on a PC. The large colour touch screen makes interaction with the unit user friendly. Designed to withstand harsh environments the rugged automatic model D weighs just 14kg making it a portable solution.

Superior High Frequency Surge Pulses

Eliminates ionization dissipation present in low frequency surge testers such as those pulsing at 5Hz and lower. As a result, the iTIG II finds more weak insulation and at lower voltages than low frequency testers, and better simulates motor operating conditions. The automatic range settings mean there are no dials or buttons to push.

Automatic Quick Surge™ and Surge Guard™*

Enables the user to push a button and let the iTIG II quickly run the test with a controlled and limited number of pulses. Surge waveform ranges are automatically set for all models; no need to push buttons or turn dials.

Compare Coils to Master Coil

Coil testing mode with easy comparison to a master coil or the first coil tested is available. Automatic calculation of differences and detection of faults.

Manual or Automated IR and HiPot Tests

Includes Meg, DAR, PI, Step Voltage and Ramp tests. Multi-point test graphs and comparisons to previous tests for trend analysis is available. Insulation Resistance (IR)and DC Hipot tests are performed to 0.01 micro Amp (µA) resolution and Hipot discharge monitoring tells the user when the windings are discharged.

Along with multi-point PI and Hipot graphs of up to five tests done over time, the D model also generates a Test Summary file with all test results for every test performed on a motor over time. This is ideal for use in reliability or maintenance programs to track the performance of a motor over time.
