Domestic turbines
• 2.5kW turbine
• Residential use
• Mast height up to 11m
The 2.5kW Proven wind turbine is the smallest turbine that we supply. In a typical wind speed of 5m/s it will produce between 2,500 – 5,000kWh of electricity per annum. It is designed to be mast mounted and supply power for smaller domestic dwellings. There are 2 mast sizes available, 6.5m and 11m.
Due to the turbines size and weight, it is unsuitable for roof mounting to domestic properties. Special considerations may be taken if wanting to mount to a large, strong, flat roof. The turbine may not be suitable for properties in built up areas due to restricted air flow and turbulence.
