Range - Looping Machine

The W3HL Looping machine is a variable speed constant torque AC drive machine which has been developed for winding loops in sectional copper before they are spread to make preformed coils.

Coils are usually wound in a single turn per layer (each turn lays on top of the previous turn) and with rectangular shaped wire.

The speed ranges are infinitely variable using AC motors which allow high torque to be available throughout the speed range.

The precise controls of this machine, with the high accuracy of the PLC and the electronic counter, enable the operator to efficiently produce high quality coil loops with extremely high consistency.

Extended versions of the looping machine can also be manufactured to suit requirements.

Loops are wound onto on to a fully adjustable looper bar.

The controls can either be fitted to the machine or mounted on a remote console allowing the operator to operate the machine from any position.

To facilitate the winding of transformers or the banding of armatures and rotors, the W3HL machine can be supplied with optional tailstock, chuck, back plate, loop winding bars and face plates. W3HL Looping Machine
