Frequently during operation in Steel Works, magnets are used for various duties not usually envisaged during their design, such as shunting wagons, positioning charging pans, etc.
The Heavy Duty magnet has been designed with these points in mind to provide a magnet having superior mechanical strength capable of with-standing the most rigorous operating conditions, to which it may be subjected in continuous steel-making plants.
Fully welded types are also available.
