Range - Coil Presses

Coil presses from Rotary Engineering UK Ltd are designed to press the straight section of preformed electric motor coils.

The press heads provide horizontal and vertical forces needed to produce high quality coils.

Electrically-heated mild steel platens (heater bars), are fitted into the throat of the press heads, front and rear to provide the heat required by modern insulation systems.

Temperature and pressure are preset to give uniform and quality results for every coil.

Our comprehensive range of presses proved their quality of performance and reliability in day-to-day use in our own manufacturing division, where coils of all sizes and voltages, AC and DC were made.

Design of the standard range is continually updated to incorporate the best features of new technology.

The hydraulically operated press heads are mounted on mild steel rails. They can be moved freely along the rails to accommodate varying slot lengths.

Our 40 years of experience in supplying customers around the world has shown that almost any combination of presses is possible for pressing extra lengths of coil.

Dual Pressure Approach	Begins the process using low pressure and increasing to a higher pressure after a pre-set interval.
Independent Pressure Control	Vertical and horizontal pressures are controlled independently by two hydraulic circuits.
Water Cooling System	Coils are cooled by water passing through the heater bars. Available in standard and heavy duty presses.
Customisation	We can manufacture our presses in any size and are please to incorporate specific individual features for special applications.
Standard Duty Presses	(1.0m, 1.5m, 2.0m, 3.0m)
Heavy Duty Presses	(2.5m, or a combination of press lengths for longer coils)
