CNC Range - Automated Taping Machine 180A

This new high precision CNC controlled Taping Machine is part of a range of electromechanical automation equipment now offered by Rotary Engineering UK Ltd.

This machine is suitable for rotor bar and some forms of stator coil taping.

The machine is fully automatic and will therefore automatically turn over the coil for taping on the other side.

The coil taping machine pauses itself automatically when the tape reel needs to be changed. It is also able to track and memorise data and it is able to perform single or double reel taping.

The machine has sampling, manual and automatic modes. The sampling mode is used to record the position of key points and the tooling position of the work-piece.

The machines touch screen allows the taping tension and taping speed for each section of the coil / bar to be set.

After actions are performed by the operator, all that is required is the pushing of the start button and the machine will perform all the required operations until the taping processes are completed.
